Essbee - your last lump was benign, yes?

Esbee, you must deserve some good luck soon. I'm so sorry.
all I can say is what I said last time - my sister was very poorly but after treatment is brilliant. Get yourself seen asap and kick up a stink.

Poor you! Did they take biopsies today? Unless they did, I don't think there's anyway they would be able to know 'instantly' whether it is benign or not.

I've had two sorts of lumps and the first one looked like it was malignant according to the specialist who did the scan after the mammogram. It wasn't until the biopsy results came back that they could tell me it was benign, and even then they weren't 100% until they whipped it out. So hang on in there - some of us are just more lumpy than others!

Oh, and I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day. You can't have too many days like today anyhow!!

oh b*gger, hadn't seent his before and didn't expect it to be you. If they were really worried I'm sure you'd get a referral sooner rather than later. Take care and get to bed asap .

Essbee, just want you to know I'm Mrs Lumpy Norks and have had this several times over, with different types of lumps that have all been nothing so far. It's still far more likely to be benign than not. Wishing you all the best and try not to worry. An yes all these appointments are a normal part of the NHS system - but they seem quite efficient these days.
