For the last 3 cycles I have diarrhoea and vomiting at the very start of my period. It last about 12 hours with nausea staying put for about another day.
It's not associated with cramps when I was younger I had severe cramps where the pain made me vomit. I sometimes still get cramps on day 3-4 but managed with ibuprofen now.
It ties in with when I stopped BF but my periods have been back for about 13 months (8 weeks after birth of dd).
It's debilitating and I haven't been able to go to work today. I expect a GP visit is required but was wondering if anybody had any experience as I expect GP will either fob off or suggest hormonal contraception?
