Bloody ribs. Walk in centre or tough it out?

i fell last weekend injuring my ribs. I broke some a few years ago and now seem prone to thus type of injury. I had half a day off work to rest up and felt better Thursday, but yesterday I was in even more pain. I've been following all the advice-Otc pain relief, trying to sleep on that side, deep breaths, but it's hurting to breathe and stopping me sleeping.
So, do I perservere or trek to ooh (30mins away) or am I wasting everyone's time?

I would get it checked out. Sympathies.

As you no doubt already know there is not a lot they can do for a rib injury. It does sound like you could use some stronger painkillers though, worth going just for them. Nothing worse than going without sleep.

I've broke a few bones in my time, but my ribs was the worst its so painful you have my sympathySad
I would go and get checked though just to make sure, it's awful cause there's nothing they can do about it!

Are you taking full dose OTC ibuprofen??

You could also add OTC co-codamol. If you are taking full dose of both & still struggling then I think it would be reasonable to ask to be seen to get some stronger meds. Though stronger meds have greater side effects..
See how you go today. Take it easy.
