Mainly nausea, frequently visiting the loo (up to 3-4 times a day). Chills, tired, lightheaded. Tonight I've got a weird sore, hot feeling starting at lower chest right through my digestive system. I've not noticed this till now.

This started with a sickness bug passed on by my ds but has been lingering and comes and goes every 2-3 days. I don't get a lot of time to rest at the moment as I'm a sahm but I do get help from dh at weekends and I got a few hours to myself earlier this week.

DM thinks I need to go to the docs but I don't think there is much they can do.

I agree with your DH. That's not normal; go and see your GP.

If definetely go to doctors. Try to settle it with very plan diet like scrambled eggs and toast, jacket potatoes, chicken soup. Avoid cold food as chills tummy. And not too much raw food. I have IBS and if I get a tummy bug it takes me a long time to get over it. Hope you are feeling better soon

I've been eating salads and fruit as trying to be healthy Hmm

I'm going to make appointment tomorrow. Had another episode tonight including having to go to bed early because I feel like poorly.

Raw foods are harder to digest. You want something to warm tummy. Plain chicken good too. Avoid greasy food. Try a peppermint tea that settles stomachs well. But absolutely go to the doctors.

No I'm not doing anything like that. I've made a doctors appointment for next week.

How do I boost my immune system?

Probiotics. They contain all the good flora. You can make your own kefir. If you don't know anyone with grains you can get them from the the kefir company on the Internet.

Google Donna Schwenk and fermented foods. We make our own kefir and if you make sauerkraut you will get different strains of good flora. I prefer Pepperkraut using red green and orange peppers . You can add the probiotic rich juice to your smoothies or add to not piping hot soup.

Kombucha tea...another fermented drink adds other strains of probiotics. If ever you take antibiotics ( I try to avoid them) take your probiotics as well.

Our immune system is our first line defence between illness and health. I think of it as the foot soldiers.

I also take chlorella and these to replace electrolytes.

Stress and lack of sleep play havoc with our immune systems. It needs all the help it can get.

Till you feel vibrant again it might help to quit sugar. I'm eight weeks without sugar and my digestion system is thanking for me it

Anyway...these are really good. I used them when biking round cuba and didn't come down with grippy tummy like a lot of of the group. I was very careful what I ate too.

You get 32 a months supply.

Also you might want to consider leaky gut. There's a good article here

If I think itmight be slipping or think I needto give it an extra boost I'll take a tub of this

www.nutricentre.com/p-21513-ultraclear-sustain-14-servings.aspx

If you think about it are immune systems are under attack all the time stress, pollution, imperfect diets,

I'm guilty of having too many antibiotics, painkillers, and antacids in my lifetime so now in my 60 sim actively trying to repair the damage before its too late.
Thankfully I've never been a smoker nor a drinker but I've made up for it with the ton of sugar I've consumed :-(

All changed now. Healthy diet and no painkillers for two years not even for a bad headache.no antacids for 3.5 years ( a bit of bicarb is ok) and no sugar for 2 months.

I want to see my grand daughters baby....and shes only 5 lol!

Oh yes and a parasite cleanse

Can be bought from harmonikireland

Very important.

I do make one from walnut skins and vodka but I suspect there's more good stuff in the harmonik Ireland one ( cloves and wormwood maybe)
