slightly enlarged red blood cells

I was diagnosed with macrocytosis (official term given by the hematologist) around 15 years ago. I don't think about it too often, it comes up every now and then with blood tests and i just tell the doctor that I have macrocytosis and that seems OK.

But I'm 25 weeks pregnant and just back from the doctors where they were testing me for extreme fatigue and the only thing they found, were slightly enlarged red blood cells. My iron, b12, folate etc levels apparently all OK.

I'm not really sure what I'm asking, I guess is it OK to have enlarged red blood cells and everything be OK? When I google it just lists possible problems (b12 deficient etc) which I'm not.

I had kind of hoped I would be low in iron or something to explain the fatigue! When I'm not pregnant I take b12 and b complex tablets on and off, and try other vitamins as I'm always a little tired but I'm not doing this at the moment and I am really struggling .

Sorry a bit of an essay but just wondered if there was anyone else there, anyone had any suggestions?
