FIL passing out - worried MIL & DH

My FIL(57) had a stroke on Christmas Day nearly two years ago. Luckily he has made a full recovery. But recently in the last 4 months or so he has passed out on 3 occasions. The first time he was in a library and was taken to hospital where they said he had food poisoning. He has since passed out twice (including last night in our house!) but FIL says he's fine and MIL is struggling to get him to the doctors.

I'm obviously not expecting anyone to tell me what's the matter but I wondered if anyone had any experience of this. I'm assuming it's related to the stroke as he's started reverting back to bad habits this year, eating too much, not doing enough exercise etc. But he's an extremely stubborn and obstinate person who won't listen to anyone - so it's hard to know what to do.

Sorry to hear about your fil. He needs to be assessed by GP. Could be a number of things. The doctor would probably want to check his bloodpressure, perhaps arrange an ecg and do blood tests for starters. Not sure how you could convince him to see gp though.
