Anyone had scarlet fever? Im anxious!!

Hi, so a girl at work works in the office across the hall from me and on Monday she was very suddenly very sick in the bathroom after having to run from a meeting she was in ( i was not in that meeting). I had spoken to her briefly before hand in her office and she was perfectly fine. So she left work straight away after vomiting and was off Tuesday as she thought she had a tummy bug. I saw on her Facebook last night that she has been diagnosed with Scarlet Fever as there is a lot of it about at her kids school apparantly, doc has given her antibiotics. Anyway, I wasnt too worried until i find out this morning ( my day off ) that her boss has now come down with it too!! I was working with him yesterday although not closely ( we dont work in the same room, just popped i a few times to collect paperwork).Now i am wondering whether I am at risk of catching this? Her boss would have been in the same room with her before she became symptomatic on Monday for maybe about 2 1/2 hours so do you think I am a contender for being next??????

I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old so anxious to know whether i should be on the lookout for symptoms myself??

Sore throat is the main symptom and sickness , like tonsillitis but then with a red rash on the face and and strawberry tongue. Although it is very contagious it doesn't sound like you came into much contact with her.

It's treatable with antibiotics.
