Have been struggling a bit with short term memory loss for the last 8 weeks or so, it started quite suddenly at the same time of feeling a bit unsteady. Not like me at all, sometimes can't find the word I want, can't always remember names, details, where I've put things - probably happens about 4 times a day. Very frustrating as I'm normally v lucid and articulate. GP has referred me for MRI as DS1 had a ruptured aneurysm when he was 9, and cousin had one, but no appointment yet. (despite referral being end November.) However, in the last 2 days my boobs have swollen beyond belief and the boundary of my bra, and are sooo painful - light bulb moment made me wonder if this is perimenopause. Has anyone else suffered crap memory, can't find words, has no idea where they've put things/which shop they saw that thing in etc etc during perimenopause? It would explain a lot. Will still be having the MRI (eventually!!) as vision in one eye a tiny bit odd as well, but no bad headaches so am not panicking. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
