Sore on neck (throatpart)

Hello, realised last night that my daughter (17 weeks) has a sore patch on her neck. You know where they have the wrinkles still? It is under there, it seems to have rubbed against something, at least it looks like that.

I am not sure what to do as i think cream might make it worse, as i cant get it to the air.

Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.

this is very common, to sort it out you need to wipe (gently) under the wrinkles with some damp cotton wool or a wipe make sure you dry it and then put sudocrem on it (apply plenty) imo best to do this when baby is asleep. keep doing this especially after baby has been fed it should go in a few days. its just where the milk collects and doesnt get wiped away, it will also smell. make sure this area is well washed at bathtime hth

Thank you for that, sounds like i am an unclean mum hey :-/ But am glad it is quite common. Have cleaned it and sudocrem has been applied, god it is tricky getting underneath those wrinkles
