A masticating juicer?

I'm considering getting a twin gear juicer (in the hope that it will miraculously improve my health). Has anyone got one? I see I could spend 500 on this. I've looked at the reviews online, but can't decide. Can the parts be washed in a dishwasher? Has anyone got one? I've decided on a masticating juicer, but can't decide on the model?

You can put them in the dishwasher but they tend to take up a lot of room and I've found that if you wash the parts in hot water as soon as you've finished with it, they clean up very easily. Leaving them all day in a dishwasher makes them more difficult to clean.

Can I ask where you bought yours and which brand you have - have you had any problems with it?

I've got a breville one, but it's quite old. The only problem I've had is that the spout where the juice comes out broke off. The locating tabs are quite small but it slots in ok for use.

As I said, mine is quite a few years old so they've probably changed it by now. I love it, and still use it a lot.
