Blurred types vision after jogging??

Went for a small jog tonight around 8:30 and around half an hour ago whilst watching tv I started getting a type of blurred vision, around the outside of my vision?! The faces on the people on tv seemed strange as if there noses didn't fit their faces? My vision is like looking through those old kids toys you used to get, you looked through the tube and twisted the bottom and all the colours would move,? There's no colour just white watery types? It's very hard to describe,, and know I've got a sore head? My chest seems very chesty with a cough too, should this vision be something to maybe see about or is this normal?!

I advise you to see an opthalmic optician who can put drops in your eyes and investigate more thoroughly.
It could be high blood pressure during your jogging which can affect the blood vessels in the eyes.

Hi there, thank you for your message,, I do sometimes get spots floating also, not everyday but at least every few days, it was really strange almost like water ripples around the outsides of my vision,
I ended up with a headache after my vision went back to normal, I ended up taking dh co codamol and went to bed. I was at the opticians a few weeks ago due to headaches I thought I needed my prescription stronger but all was fine, I had pictures taken of the insides of my eyes and was told for my symptoms there was no reason she could give me as my eyes were ok, a little oval shaped which was causing the focus problem but nothing else x

High blood pressure can cause headaches as was the case with my dad. When he took blood pressure tablets his head aches were gone for good.
High BP can also cause eye problems with some people.

I had this twice a few weeks ago. It lasted a few minutes each time. Never happened before or since. I think mine was just a virus going round. You seem to be a bit under the weather too. Perhaps it was just a one off?
If it happens again after jogging, I'd see the doctor but perhaps wait to see if it happens again? It wouldn't hurt to ring him now, if you are worried though.

I think pharmacists can take your blood pressure, if you don't know anyone with a machine you can borrow. Or certainly the practice nurse can at your GP could take it. Worth taking it immediately after a jog and then when at rest too.

I get the vision you are describing before a migraine. If you can afford it, maybe get yourself to a good osteopath and get your neck area checked out.

Yes, my dd loses her vision or it distorts, because of her silent migraines.

Yes I get distorted vision prior to a migraine headache. I also loose some visual field but am not aware of this until I walk into something!Sometimes I only get the visual symptoms and escape the full migraine headache itself. How long did the distorted vision last and has it returned to normal now? If it has not returned fully to normal you must see your GP.
I think you should see your GP as it is a new symptom for you (rather than assume it was 'just' migraine). I think cold can set off some migraines, but there are lots of different triggers for different people - for DH it is when he has not eaten for a while and heat or dehydration that set his off.
