Painting the bedroom

Hello mums. The bedroom in our flat was just painted this afternoon and the windows have been wide open for hours but there's still a bit of a whiff of paint. I know it's not going to be lead paint these days! But do you spose it's safe for baby (8 months old) to sleep in there as usual tonight?

Googling turns up mixed results. Nothing to say it's actually harmful, but you know, I'm paranoid!

I don't like sleeping in a freshly painted room that same night.. I don't know why but my chest doesn't seem to like it.

The next night is fine though.
