Small lump on my labia. What could it be?

In the shower this morning I noticed a little lump on my labia. I hadn't noticed it before and it was sore to the touch. I have had cold sores from the herpes virus on my mouth in the past. None recently though. Could it have some how transferred? What else could it be? My imagination is running amok and I'm freaking out that it's a sti and DH has been cheating. I've called the go but can't get an appt until next week. What the hell could it be?

Err you've got a spot you dafty! They can happen anywhere and I'd give it a week or two before you run to the doctors for this. It'll go.

Another vote for a spot. Try dabbing a bit of sudocrem on it.

Thank you.
My imagination tends to go into overdrive and then I freak myself out.
Calming down now.

Or it could be ingrown hair.

I would guess spot too. If it was herpes it'd be more of an open sore than a lump.

Try not to touch it too much to make it worse. My guess would be it's a spot that will have cleared up by your appt but good thing to get full check up anyway for peace of mind.

Hope it feels better soon!

It could be a genital wart. If it doesn't clear up in the next week OP see your GP.

Oh you haven't got warts or herpes! Honestly - the simplest answer is usually the correct one.

I get the anxiety though. I can suffer a little bit myself but manage to keep it in check. Have a hot bath and put some sudocrem on it for a few days. It'll go before you know it

Yep, pores down there bung up just like any other.

Sometimes I just get them bunged up with natral secretion, sometimes they get infected, occasionally they go bang.

Just looked at the calendar and I'm right on schedule for my monthly overreaction and emotional day.

Grin Poor ginger!

We all do this . Last week I had a pain in my side. It hurt when I bent over and felt like a stitch/ pulled muscle. In my mind, I elevated this to a rare cancer of ' the side' ... And dwelled on it for days.

I'm under some stress at the moment and am aware I'm being an idiot.

So I sympathise. How is the spot this morning? No in depth info please as I'm about to eat
