I haven't but its a genetic hereditary condition, which would suggest others in your family have it too? How have you as a family managed it so far?

poubella Wed 12-Mar-14 22:13:59

Do you have symptoms or have you had a genetic test ?
I have worked with people with this condition.

Sixpencenonethericher Wed 12-Mar-14 22:17:21

I've known that it was coming I tested positive for the gene 16 years ago and I was tested every year but today was the first time any symptoms appeared

Hi. I'm sorry to hear of your diagnosis but it's great to hear that your family and friends are supportive. Which area are you from? There is support from the huntingtons disease association in England and the Scottish huntingtons association in scotland.

Hi. My mum has HD, and has symptoms. One sibling has tested positive, but no symptoms as yet. I am negative. My other sibling is soon to be tested.
We are all similar ages to you.
How are you feeling?
