Physiotherapy first appointment -what to expect

I broke my ankle badly and was in a cast for 6 weeks. The cast was removed last week and I was referred for Physiotherapy. I have an appointment tomorrow .

What would I expect from this visit? How should I dress? How long will it all take?

Anything I need to ask or remember?

Dress so they can get at your leg. Shorts would be particularly good - if not, a skirt.

I recently had NHS physio after a dislocated knee. The appointments were 20 mins, the day my bus was late I was not able to see anyone and all they did was move me around a bit and verbally suggest some exercises. I have cognitive difficulties and found it really difficult to remember the exercises.

Thank you Rockin .
I had to go through PALs as Physio hadnt contacted me and I needed to know dates etc for work.Once I explained what was needed it was very quickly sorted out for me. Perhaps if you contact your PALs ,or indeed Physio dept directly, they can similarly help you? They all seem very helpful if they know there is a problem.

Not looking forward to donning shorts though Hmm
