Changed name for this.

My nether regions smell very strongly. The only thing I can compare it to is pilchards. It's not a fishy smell as such but I still smell very strongly.

I have not got an infection as I have checked. Can anyone offer any solutions to this.

Oh well guess name change didn't work. Have just gone extremely red from toes to face. Oh Fuck!!

Well I suppose its not the worst thing I have ever heard of. God my cheeks are burning.

Does anyone know why this happens and what I can do to change it.

Aren't you pg? Couldn't this be a yeast infection? How are you sure you don't have one?

is it just you who thinks this?

Maybe your sense of smell has become more acute?

I had a swab done about 6 months ago for thrush. Which I do get everynow & then. Please god, no one from work is reading this.

So I am assuming that it's just 'smelly fanny syndrome'. Yes wear cotton pants. Started washing with boots fadgewash instead of soap.

Maybe it's just me. Obviously won't ask DH to smell it for me.

COuld you have a weak pelvic floor? That was my problem.

Report
spacedonkey · 20/06/2006 23:22

ucm it could be bacterial vaginosis which has a telltale fishy whiff - it's easily sorted with a single dose of antibiotics though

poor you with the name change faux pas!

Started using it cos' it's supposed to keep the ph balance correct. It's like shaving foam. I am never going to live this down ever, am I.
