Hi everyone.
I've started a new diet, after number 1 child I went from a size 10-12 to a 22/24. Once the other 3 came along I could never shift the weight.
So basically the diet is a soup diet, high veg low meat.
So other than breakfast (which I don't eat) all u have is soup.
I'm only on day 2 and I'm having terrible stomach pain and major running for the toilet moments. Is this just my body in shock from the no junk food?

Thanks

Your body is in shock due to the lack of bulk/fibre it is used to having. There is nothing to bind the soup so it's just running through you. Eek! Been there and know how upsetting it is. I think that the soup diet is generally seen as a 'one off' quick fix diet, not a healthy and permanent way to re-train your appetite and lose weight safely and slowly over a longer period of time. Have you been to see your doctor? (I know! sorry but I had to ask). If losing weight has always been a stuggle you might need some help in the form of an advisor. The best diet for me was Go Lower (they've changed their name now though I think). You can eat loads and not feel hungry (ketogenic). Shockingly expensive though but if like me you have a good appetite and eat your bodyweight in biscuits then this really helps. Good luck andI hope you feel better soon.
