Checking boobs while breast feeding

Does anyone know if you still check your boobs for lumps in the same way when you're breast feeding? I don't want to end up blocking a duct or anything!

My mum and her sister have both had breast cancer and I need to get back into the habit of checking my boobs regularly

You wouldn't cause a blocked duct by having a good feel of your breasts TBH, so go for it.
