Has anybody any experience of treatment for folliculitis? Was diagnosed with this a few months ago. GP at the time prescribed an antibiotic cream but held off on the oral antibiotics because at the time I was still breastfeeding. The cream worked for about 2 weeks but the folliculitis has come back with a vengeance. 
I've made an appointment to go back to GP about it and presume that oral anti-bs are the next step. I haven't taken oral antibiotics since I was about 7 years old and have no idea what to expect. Am I guaranteed to get thrush afterwards? I'm getting married in 2 weeks! ARGH. It's such a horrible affliction!
