her face improved after we rehomed the dog BUT her body is still fairly bad.

It cleared fairly well and then the little mite caught chickenpox and its been bloody awful tbh misdee

what are you using on her skin? dd3 has a touch or eczema, but remember how bad dd1 was, so feel for you. the backs of dd1 legs have flared up already this summer

I use all sorts tbh misdee- a right cocktail. We see the dermatologist every 12 weeks and the excema nurse in between. I use aveeno in the main and modrosone when she's bad. I have bactoban for infected eczema. i also use doublebase occasionally.

I've not slept through the night since she was born- for ages cos I was feeding but even now I'm up twice in the night with her.Luckily we're co-sleeping so it's not too bad.

They've given me piriton which I use when she's bad and they've prescribed vallergan which I've never used and don't want to either.

It breaks me apart when she scratches herself raw and is bleeding. Then its really hard cos the cream hurts so its a lose lose situation.

The chickenpox really set us back and a couple of patches were very near to being badly infected but luckily we sorted them out.

there is a companmy ezcemaclothing.com i think which does fab sleepsuits. they are pricey tho.

have you applied for dla? think about how often you are p with her each night, and how often you reapply creams. dd1 has been getting it for 4years now, it has enabled us to keep her room as allergy friendly as possible and keep her in stock for sleepsuits. she is wearing one tonight. they are a godsend, but without the dla she gets, they would be impossible for us to buy.

I have 5 of the sleepsuits from cotton comfort. We have like dungarees and long sleeved sleep tops with removable hands underneath it as she is a little houdini when it comes to scratching.

Haven't applied for any thing as I don't really want the bods in the local office knowing my business. When I finished uni and before i could start teaching i wanted to sign on for a couple of months but tey wanted to knowq so much info and they wanted bank statements etc that i didn't bother and have never been enar them since

you wont need to to provide any statments or anything for this. the only bit of info they need is your bank details to pay the money in. Its for your daughter afterall. And she is still grwoing and you will need to replace those sleepsuits. And the special bedding........

i have spent a fortune on making my home eczema and asthma/allergy friendly. If you watched the 'beat your childs asthma and saw how the kids rooms were, well my home is like that all over, albeit a bit cluttered atm unfortunatly, but getting back to how it should be.

we are fairly eczema friendly tbh apart for the bedroom floors which still has carpet but i hoover that every day anyway. I don't want to go totally carpet free as i do believe that we need some allergens in the environment as I'm petrified of asthma as well. We rehomed the dog and i do everything that i can for her including the allergy free bedding and sleepsuits.

We are ok financially (as ok as anyone can be) Dd has everything she needs for her eczema so i won't be applying for it but thanks for mentioning it and being concerned
