Got appointment at Doc's @ 11.30am - Male doctor as no female available. I saw a male doctor last year about this but he was dismissive so put me off going back again.
I have to get this sorted as it's driving me crazy!
Will try not to drip feed but it's been going on so long, I might forget a few details at first. I'm not sure if it's all connected but i'm getting a little freaked out.
Started off with periods every 2 weeks. about 2 years ago i think.
Recurring bouts of BV, treated with antibiotics.
Now my periods are disappearing. Last period started 13 feb, just spotting for a few days before proper bleed, which lasted about 4 days.
Before that period (i can't remember the actual date) was December 2012. I'm ashamed to say I should be keeping actual dates but my periods have become do erratic, I keep losing track.
I have also started to notice excess hair on my chin, chest and stomach (boak) acne & dry skin (acne scars now, never had acne before) hair thinning and weight gain, urine frequency (seem to need to go all the bloody time) Excessive vaginal discharge (sometimes feels like i've wet myself )
I'm tired all the time, frequent head aches, feeling nausea and bloated.
My moods are up and down all the time.
PCOS? Menopause? Something more sinister?
I'm getting worried now, i'm exhausted again today and wondering how long it will be before I need a nap
BTW i'm not pregnant. Tested negative this morning as wanted to check before appointment.
This is also ruining my sex life with DP, I'm paranoid I smell because of the reoccurring BV/ discharge.
Sorry about the gross details but i'm getting desperate and don't want to be fobbed off again.
