I'm in wisdom tooth HELL

I'm going to the dentist tomorrow but I'm pretty sure the dull ache in my cheek, lower jaw and temple is down to the bastard wizzer! An X-ray about 18months ago showed they were impacted but at that point hadnt pierced the skin. It's tender to completely say "ahh" wide (!) but I think I can see a swelling where it is. Any home remedies for this ache? I'm on bonjela at the moment!

I think ibuprofen s meant to be better for toothache.

Co-codamols strong too. Paracetamol can be combined with ibuprofen but not sure about co-codamols.
