D&V and co sleeping with DD

Currently in bed having been up most of the night with d&v. I guess it could be norovirus? Not sure. I haven't had an "episode" for a couple of hours.

My question is, is there anything I can do to lessen the chances of DD (10.5 months) catching it. We co-sleep. Or is it a case of, if she's going to catch it she's probably already got it?

Thanks in advance. Feeling very rough and sorry for myself. Sad

She can only get it if she is in contact with the virus.

Sleeping next to you will not necessarily make her ill, but it is likely some of the viruses have got on your sheets from the d&v.

Change the sheets, or put her in a cot next to you til you've fully recovered.

Make sure the bathroom and anthing you've touched is cleaned with bleach.

Just popping back to say thanks for the advice prettypolly1.

We changed the bed sheets on Sunday, I had a bath, changed clothes, sent DH to bleach the bathroom and then made him do door handles, light switches etc with anti-bac wipes (even though that wouldn't make a difference to a virus). And I've washed anything that I've touched. Thank goodness we just had a tumble dryer fitted!

DD was sick at 4 this morning but hasn't been again today and seems to have recovered far quicker than me or maybe I'm just a wuss. Fingers crossed DH or DS don't come down with it tonight and I'm hoping we're nearly in the clear. I might even make it out the house by the weekend!

Is she BF? If so that will really help her immunity...
