IBS? Help!!

I have made an appointment at the docs but just wanted some advice.

I have been struggling with my stomach for a few weeks now. Every morning I have bad wind, about an hour after getting up I need to go urgently. I have had a few near misses on the drive to work!! I go a couple of times and then I'm ok all day. Sometimes I get cramps in the eve which go when I go to the loo.

I have stopped drinking diet coke which seems to have helped with the wind. There is often, not always bright red blood on the tissue which is why I am going to the docs.

Any advice?

You don't get blood with IBS. Could be ulcerative colitis or proctitis. Take a look here

Snesible girl, Tarty, glad you are seeing the doc - any change in bowel habit or red blood should be investigated.

Most of the time it's just piles, of course. x
