HELP! Ezcema around my eyes, what will shift it??

I used to get it round my eyes when stressed and was given 1% cortisone cream and told to use very sparingly as it can thin the skin. For the last month its been flaring up on my eye lids and under my eyes. Im careful what i use on my skin, havent changed anything....have tried using my sons diprobase (from gp for ezcema) but tht doesnt seem to be helping. Have tried using my cortisone cream also but when i apply it it seems to sting abit and dont remember it doing it before.

Once i have make up on it seems to not be too bothersome but when i take make up off it gets really itchy and red but i havent changed my eye make up remover which is one supposedly for sensitive skin etc etc

Any ideas>

The only thing that works with mine is to apply lots of moisturiser (either e45 or aveeno usually) and not put any makeup near my eyes. It's a real pain cos I feel really self conscious without my eyeshadow and mascara, but the eczema won't budge otherwise.

I used calendula cream last time I had a flare up of this and it seemed to work fine. Might be worth a try for you?
