I can't possibly have norovirus again

Had mild bug beginning of Dec, one vomitting episode followed by diarrhoea for couple days.

Just before Xmas, no vomiting but diarrhoea for days. Since Christmas I've had cold, sinus trouble, basically a 'head cold'. Felt ok in myself.

Woke in the night, feeling hot sick and stomach ache. Dc's woke me before 8am. I got up but feel awful. Really sick, stomach ache feel like keep needing loo. Not diarrhoea though.

How can I possibly be ill for so long and so often?

I posted similar a few days ago. Ill with norovirus Boxing Day and few days after. Then this week been struck down with exactly the same symptoms. I've also had the Coldy Fluey bug with the first bout. I feel so weak now.

You can get multiple tummy bugs in one season, yes. Sorry!!

Its dreadful. I feel slightly better now but feel like just lying down. Can't though as got young dc's and dp at work! Could cry!

Your gut can also be 'upset' (understatement!) by something like Norovirus - can take a while to recover fully. You poor love, I hear the mum-of-young-kids-exhaustion that goes with being ill with kids!

Ah thanks. I'm desperate for the children to go and have thir nap so I can lie on the settee for a bit. I'm hoping the nausea will pass then.

I had plans to cook a nice Sunday roast and hoping I still can if this feeling passes.

If you have children you just cannot be ill can you, its impossible.
