Retroperitineal cyst in the ovarian fossa anyone?

Hi folks, I had surgery yesterday for ovarian cyst removal, only when they got in there it's not an ovarian cyst is something else. The surgeon thinks its a 'retroperitineal cyst located in the ovarian fossa'. So now I'm having a CT scan to determine exactly wth it is and what they need to do. Does anyone have any experience of this? I am confused and sore, advice welcomed.

Did they remove it?

I would have thought pathology would be able to tell them from what tissue it originated from.

I understand that cherry. I hope they get you some results soon. Can you chat to GP in the meantime?
