it's been a week now & I have been having terrible stabbing/sharp pain in my left breast. no other symptom like discharge or fever. does feel heavy like there is water retention & really sore. I normally take .tramadol daily & would have this would be enough to help with the pain but it doesn't seem to even touch it.

any1 experience this at all??? need suggestions to get through the weekend!

I'll b seeing my G.P on Monday hopefully about it.

I get this every month about two weeks before my period, although not as severe as you describe it.

Do you have a mirena coil? I found I had much more noticeable left breast pain when I had one.

no dnt have a coil dnt use any contraception as not been in a relationship for over 2 yrs now! had my period about a week ago so I know it's not related to that. been reading up on it & I think it may be fibromyalgia but bcos I suffer from other illnesses am not sure as my symptoms could be overlapping.

Interestingly, I have left breast pain too! Confused

Mine started about the time my mum passed away though (4 weeks ago), so am wondering if it's stress related? I'm seeing my GP about something else on Wednesday so will mention it then.

Would be interesting to know what your GP thinks is causing yours though OP, and hope it can be easily sorted out Smile.

so my G.P has just put it down to lack of vitamin D & stress. I've been told to continue with tramadol for now!
