low abdomen pain left side???

OK so for about a week now had a funny feeling low abdomen just above girly hairy bits (sorry!) a bit like pre period cramps/full bladder feeling was getting a bit annoying but was trying to ignore it as otherwise felt fine.

Then over last few days had pain too next to my pelvis low left side, area around my belly button feels harder than usual (i think?) too. I have suffered with IBS for a few years but this is different no change in bowel habits or going to the toilet more often.

Anyone had anything similar???

Have doc appointment friday but keep googling and it always scares me, I know stupid!!!!
