Urinary incontinence?

is it possible to have an apparently OK pelvic floor (no problems laughing for example, and just the occasional problem on trampoline or when sneezing while sitting cross-legged) but have frequent, tiny, unnoticed leakages? Not even every day, but, more often than not, finding that knickers are damp?

Get a referral to a physio who knows about such things. Not normal but v common.

So it's possible to be incontinent without noticing?

Yes that is possible. It might be due to the sphincters not closing properly rather then the pelvic floor muscles. Go to your GP.

Could be an overactive bladder. Go and see your GP. I'm on medication for it and my life has changed vastly for the better.

probably not, because it doesn't sound like the pelvic floor is the main problem (although we should all do pelvic floor exercises), the problem may be the sphincters. Infection also needs to be ruled out.

What's the treatment if it is the sphincters?

(Not infection, that's been checked for, and not overactive bladder - I know what that looks like as two of my dc have it, one severly enough to be medicated for it)

There are lots of different types of incontinence, lots of different causes and treatments, it really is for an expert to diagnose you properly.
