EVRA patch-best contraceptive I have ever used!

Just thought I'd share my joy at how well this wonder patch does it's job!

Have been using it for nearly 4 months now and it is fantastic. So easy to use-you stick it on your arse once a week and there it stays!-so predictable-you take it off after the 3 rd week and hey presto-2 day's later-a period! A nice light period with hardly any pains and, previously, hardly any mood swings or tears!

Am very impressed and thought I'd share this with you.If you are unhappy with what you are using at the moment-give it a go!

(As long as your quack will prescribe it-think it's a tad expensive-not sure!)

That's it really!

I've just started the Evra patch and I've noticed nowadays if you ring for a contraception appointment it's the practice nurse that deals with you, not a GP.

My nurse didn't know about patches so had to look them up in a book, then went ahead and prescribed after taking my medical history and blood pressure.

When I took prescription into the chemist attached to the surgery I asked if I might have to wait for intone brought in as the nurse said its rarely prescribed, but she said no, not nowadays as its popular with European women so in recent years they've stocked it.

I tried them years ago but I'm allergic to the sticky stuff. :(

I used them years ago but hormonal migraines meant I had to give them up.

I used them years ago and loved them. I was travelling a lot with lots of different time zones so it was great not having to worry about taking the pill.

Worked really well until just over 6 years ago.... DD1 is 6 in JulyShockGrin

(Doc couldn't figure out why - possibly just the 3% failure in normal use, or possibly to do with putting on weight.

So, although I really loved it, I can't quite bring myself to try it again...
