I'd be very grateful any thoughts... Am old ( 43) not keen to get pregnant again though.

Had coil 3 years just couldn't bear it any more. ( Bled for days, terrible ovulation pain etc) Don't want mirena ( hormones/rather high incidence of sfx to judge by threads here..)
All the threads on this subject are rather old which makes me wonder whether people actually use them? Have I missed something?!

I had one before I had my children (so around 5 years ago) and loved it. It was my most favourite contraceptive. Much better than all the fuck-you-up hormonal methods.
