I'm after some help with vomiting... sort of... IYSWIM....

I'm suffering really badly with morning noon and night sickness, and am vomiting 4-5 times a day.

I do try really hard to look after my teeth, as I've had various problems in the past.

I was always told not to brush my teeth too soon after drinking something acid like a fizzy drink as the enamel would be vulnerable and brushing could make it worse.... SO MY QUESTION IS...does the same hold for stomach acid!?!

should i brush my teeth straight away afterwards (which is quite gag-some too) or leave it a while? a dentist friend once mentioned it's casein not calcium that protects teeth and theres something you can get to rub on your teeth????? what do you think.

sorry for a very dry post. Not the sort of thing you can glam up that much!!

TIA.

No, don't brush afterwards. The best thing to do would be to rinse your mouth out with water/Fluoride mouthwash (like Fluoriguard) to remove the acid and help maintain mineralisation.
