Low growth weight

Hiya,

I've never posted on here before but could do with some advice, I'm 26 weeks pregnant and have just had a growth scan which has come back with a very low growth rate for baby. They now want to do a Doppler scan to see if the nutrients are getting to babba from the placenta and cord, so I suppose my question is has anyone had a similar experience and can give me some advice cause i'm going off my nut with worry. I should point out that all my mothers 4 kids were born between 5 and 1/2 and 6 1/2 pounds and i'm only 5 foot and a bit. Surely the doc would have taken this into account???
