As somesome of you will know I've had this for years, wel it's only 5 years but feels longer.

Anyway, what I'd like to know is - do any of you get numbness and pins and needles, and if so has it got worse?

I've always had a tingling feeling in the last 2 fingers of my left hand and periodically get a sense of numbness in the hand, but just recently, say the last 4/5 months this has got noticeably worse, and I also get a very strange "like a loss of touch" feeling in the arms - like they aren't there anymore (if that makes sense)
I am also in the middle of one of the worst flare ups i've had in a long time. Have had all over pain for more than a week now(usually I get it in hands only or feet or legs) and am taking co-codamol 30/500 during the day and paracetamol and tramadol at night. I don't know if this flare up is making me more aware of the numbness and tingling though, also the chronic fatigue is back, this si something that I've never been too bothered with before, but today, I'm still lying in bed, having got dressed, it took me anhour and am having to lie down again!

I get numbness and tingling in my hands, usually after exertion but sometimes for no apparent reason, and often I get numbness and tingling in my feet which can make it very awkward to walk as I can't feel where I'm placing my feet.

I can't say it's become any worse, but I've been diagnosed for 12 years and had symptoms for 15, but (as I'm sure you've experienced) am plagued by fibro-fog and sometimes can't even remember what I had for breakfast Confused.

It could be that you've been building up to a flare-up for months now, and the numbness/tingling was an indicator IYSWIM.

Have you tried Pregabalin (Lyrica)? I've found that since being on it my symptoms have improved greatly.

I've also found that limiting my dairy/gluten intake also lowers my symptoms.

I'm going through a flare-up myself atm and I know how disheartening it is especially after a long period of being very good and for no apparent reason.

I apologise if you've tried the above and found it hasn't helped, but you have my sympathies and I hope you come out of you flare-up soon.

Hi, yes I have just had a major flare after many months when I felt better, the pins and needles in my hands feet and arms has been bad as well, I have been helping my daughter through her pregnancy and difficult birth and the first 6 weeks with the baby, I have been getting stressed out with my husband and when at last we managed a few days away the dreaded flare took over, rubbish this fibro isn't it :(
