I don't know what to do. My DD has come out in several red hard lumps, all of which have gone crusty now...
They have been irritating her like crazy and she has been scratching non-stop. Due to this I am unsure whether any of the spots actually blistered like they say CP ones do as I don't think they would have had a chance with her little mits at them the whole time. She has 6 on her head, 3 under armpits, 2 behind knees, nothing on torso or face? How the heck do you know?
Any help appreciated as they say not to bother with the docs if suspected CP?!

CP are more like blisters (filled with liquid), the first time I saw one I thought it was a burn blister IYSWIM.
If your DD was lethargic and headachy last week then it could be CP, but after a couple of days you would be in no doubt if it was CP as she would have a lot over her torso and they will be blisters.
Use piriton and eurax anti-itch cream for relief and if you think they are CP put bicarb in bath water as it relieves itching and helps healing.
Blisters will need to scab over (about 5 days) before she can have contact with any non-CP persons.
