Norethisterone Advice Please!!

Hi all - after some advice as I can't find a straight answer anywhere!
Basically I am going on my holiday on 22nd August and due to start AF on 23rd! Bleuurggh! I have been prescribed norethisteron by the GP to delay AF! I was wondering that if I took it from today (AF due in couple of days) and delayed Julys AF then that would automatically delay Augusts AF??? So I won't have to faff around with taking pills on my holiday.

Would this work? Or will AF return to normal ie I would start on day due anyway rather then 26 days after the bleed I would have after stopping norethisteron?

Hope that makes sense. Any advice / experiences appreciated.

Yourperiod will start a few days after stopping the tablets and the next months one will start the usual 4 weeks (or whatever, as per your cycle) after. I did this last year, although I took them whilst away. Had enugh left over to skip Christmas too :)

I was delighted with how they worked and will definitely be doing it next summer too.

Youre going to have to delay it a lot to miss your holiday though arent you? unless its just a weeks holiday.

It's 9 days and my cycle is on average 26 days. So I'm due to start my July AF tomorrow or day after will delay (have 10 day worth of pills) last day of pill will be I think 4th August. Hopefully will have an AF around 7th (am on for 7 days!) so hopefully end 13th and not have another AF until I get back - well that's the plan anyway. Maybe I should get another weeks worth just in case ?
