We have always had it go wrong (with one exception) and have always wondered why. Would like a thread collecting good/bad areas for people to see what goes on

No. Always had good experiences. Dad spends a lot of time in local hospital, there at the minute again. Always well looked after.

You will always hear the crap stuff about hospitals in the media, but rarely the good stuff which must be the majority but just doesn't make such interesting news.
I work in the NHS and get lots of very nice compliments every day about our service from my patients as I'm sure most of my colleagues do. Its just not newsworthy.

Yes but ours is really bad: heart disease diagnosis for a slipped disk, infection after endoscopy examinaion, neglect at birth (if we had not got there child would def have died and possibly mother too) 2 teams of staff failed to notice and they were later found to be negligant) ,2 wrong diagnosis in another branch of medicine, and so i goes on We know as we are medically qualified. The general public do not know but we do. Of course the Press like a story but our local is so bad QualiyInspectorate want to fine them

Ours is first class. Great GPs, plus superb hospital treatment when needed. Fingers crossed it stays that way. Out of London, rural SE.

Our hospital services are good, but I wouldn't let any of the GPs look after my cat Sad They can't diagnose anything and their prescribing skills are dodgy too.

Yes I agree with above post It can be dangerous having Gps doing too many things as they are not specialists Our GPs have been in practice for years but still seem to know very little-never any help when a real problem
