Am I a complete weirdo re Hot/burning feet??

For the last few days I have been struggling to sleep.
I hate being hot and have a fan going and windows open.

But this is a new development. Within 10 minutes of me being bed my feet start to burn and I mean I could fry eggs on them. I have to have a COLD water bottle on my feet just to get some sleep.

What the hell is this?? And am I just abnormal??

Do you mean they are actually hot in temperature? Or is it a burning sensation?

Both. They feel hotter but not by much. They burn like hell. It's driving me insane.

Not straightfowards atheletes foot? that can leave your feet feeling v hot and itchy. How are your hands? any family history of raynauds?

See your GP, get him/her to check you over; internet diagnosis is beyond awful, plus you'll inevitably scare yourself silly - lord knows I do.

I am suffering from this right now! I hate having hot feet it makes me cross. Bizarrely putting on some thin cotton socks helps. It's weird as you would think it would make them hotter but it doesn't.

I get really restless and hot feet when I am very tired. So does my husband. We call it "hot foot". I know this is quaint, but I did think that everyone got this, but that perhaps not everyone gave it a cute name? HTH

Ahhh you lovely lot! I don't feel so abnormal now.

It's interesting that you bring up Raynaud's Lostmymind. I've always suffered with problems in my hands and feet. My hands swell in the heat and go bright purple in the cold. My feet are only vaguely warm for 3 months of the year!!
