Bleeding from eye - urgent advice needed

I am 38 weeks pregnant and due to a thrombophilic condition (leiden factor V) I inject blood thinners every day whilst pg. I woke this morning to find my face covered in fresh blood. I am in no pain and upon cleaning myself up could find no obvious cause. It seemed to be coming from my eye and two fingernail sized jelly like blood clots were removed. Bleeding has stopped but it has seriously freaked me out. I phoned the out of hours doc and he seemed unconcerned. Any idea what could have caused it?

Trust your instinct. I would go to A&E and get it checked out. Good luck.

Is it clexane you inject?
Can you call you GP or midwife this morning?

I'd def go to A&E, or if there is an eye casualty near to you to them
