Indigestion feeling on empty stomach

Hi several hours after eating I feel like I've got a spiky ball in my tum. It radiates thru to my back inside my ribs. Sometimes comes on in early hours or wake up with it. I've recently had 3 bouts of fever and stomach cramps, dont know if connected. Its not agony but quite distracting at times. Any suggestions?

It could be gallstones, or a hernia. I have a hernia and get rib pain a lot with it. The acid in your stomach works overnight and it is common for it to be bad in the morning. Gp to gp and get some tests done if it continues.

Definnitely go to your GP - sounds like heartburn, could well be hernia or gallstones or possibly even ulcer, or simple reflux: but needs treating anyway!
