My DS is four weeks old and has v dry flaky skin on his face?

What is safe to use? I read somewhere that Lanisoh would be good to use (which i guess make sense as you can breast feed with it on). Has anyone used it for a babies face or is there anything else that is safe and effective?

Thanks.

When my DS had dry skin as a newborn the health visitor's advice was to use olive oil. Worked a treat.

I used a smidge of E45, and sudocreme when it got a little bit weepy.

Hydromol bought over the counter at the pharmacy, works a treat for dry baby skin. We were given it for DD#3 after she developed extremely dry skin that didn't respond to aqueous cream or E45.
