Am recovering from the flu, but some foods now taste vile when will this go?

I had a very sore throat with the flu, which I still have to some extent although it's a lot better than it was. However tea, coffee - anything with milk and all alcohol taste absolutely disgusting. Whilst it's fine in the short term I'd kill for a cup of tea and wonder when I can expect this horrible taste to go. I've lost lots of weight as I hardly ate anything for a week, so there's a plus side I guess.

Horrible isn't it? DH lovingly made some leek and potato soup that I thought would be perfect, it tasted disgusting then he told me he'd put some milk in.

Oh well 10 days without any booze is probably doing some good.

I had flu over Christmas, and I'm just starting to feel better now. Even the smell of coffee makes me feel sick now, and I can't face alcohol at all. Weird.
