Flu and now coughing up blood

Had severe flu lasted for four days, now recovering but still bad cough. Feel relatively well cf to how I did but there is blood in my phlegm when I cough. Some bright red some dark red.

Felt blessed today as woke up feeling well but do I need to see a doctor?

it might just be you have hurt your throat.

not over and above what u would expect for flu just peoduced some more dark blood

I would get it checked in case it is pneumonia
