My mates dont know how much i suffer or my family just my ex and me. And today is really bad about to burst into tears because of it. I have pains in my knees, bottom of my back shoudlers, and hump today and on sclae of 1-10 is about an 8 today, feel so old cos of the stiffness and pain, i am only 33. Just taken 2 naproxen so hopefully in about half hour the edge of it will go, but god i am soooooo sick of this. GP ruled out r-arthritis, blood test came back last week, i have kidney disease so he thought might be gout, but test came back fine. So now referred to rhuematologist got appointment 24 jan, keeping daily diary so can show him, some days have no pain just stiffness then the next day knocked for six, can hardly get downstairs, cant dress my son and have to basically stay in on sofa. I try to get out, like today i am going shopping cos i am dertermined it is not gonna ruin my life.
Feel so bad, what could it be.
thanks for reading

Sounds awful. You say you are keeping a daily diary - does that include food you are eating? I ask because I cannot eat corn - if I do I get the most horrendous joint pain/swelling/stiffness. If I don't eat corn I have no problems at all. Hope you find out what is causing it soon.

Did your GP check your ESR? THat will indicate whether there is inflammation going on.

went back to bed for an hour to let painkillers work and wow still feel stiff with a little pain but can walk down the stairs and get up off the sofa. The tablets are quite good but are anti inflammatory and i am supposed to avoid them so gp advises only take when in really bad pain!!!
