Hi my DD is 16 months and seems to have ongoing thrush/ nappy rash?? What is the difference? Its starts off quite red on the outside and then moves inwards. Sometimes the opposite. Canesten works at the time but as soon as we stop using it, it breaks out again. We took her to her G.P recently and received something called Timotee (not sure of spelling, cant find tube and have had 'some' red wine oops). Her rash was 'really' bad outside and in and this cleared it but can only be used for so many days. Long story short, she has multiple allergies (not sure if this affects it) also it seems to errupt when she is teething. She is lactose intolerant but I wondered if we can still use natural yoghurt down below as opposed to consuming orally? Know this may be an absurdly stupid question but I just dont know! Also I saw that someone had recommended Tea Tree oil in bath for thrush, can this be used for a toddler with exczema? Any advice would be welcome as I'm tired of using creams etc that are only temporary.
