Gynaecologist recommendations in London

Hi ladies, I need help! I had a lovely baby boy at the end of June by emcs but since then I've had 3 severe infections of the lining of the uterus with 2 of those ending up with massive haemorages and trip to A&E with ambulance etc. I've had 9 different antibiotics in the last 4 months, nearly died twice, all this while having a new baby. Not quite the ideal start I was hoping for...
For the last 3 days I've had lower abdominal pain again and fear a 4th infection. I saw my GP this morning who agrees with me. I now have private medical cover and can be referred to any gynaecologist but don't know who to go to. I've had very bad experience with the NHS and the Chelsea and Westminster in particular which might explain while I'm still ill nearly 5 months after giving birth.

Sorry for the long post but I would love to hear of any good gynaes you could recommend!
Many thanks

I went to a guy at the Blackheath Hospital - he did my prolapse and put in a tape to hold up my bladder and undid the scarring from the awful mess up the midwife made after I had DS.

His name is Mr Patwarden and he is wonderful, really easy to talk to, understands and listens to what you are saying and has excellent staff and patient follow up care - another mumsnetter used him after I advised her to go and see him. He has also seen some of my friends free of charge and then seen them in the local MHS hospital and treated them that way. A lovely lovely man.

He is a gynae and obstetrician by the way.
