slack pelvic floor or early warning prolapse??? help...

Okay, so maybe a little bit tmi... but I am a little bit nervous about this. I have had a bad cough for the past few days, so obviously putting a bit of strain on the area. But last night I noticed that about an inch or so of my front vaginal wall now appears to be outside rather than inside. Not exactly bulging out (I have googled, and seen photos that may stay with me forever more...) but more out than it should be.

Question - does this just mean that I need to do a few more pelvic floor exercises, and it'll be back to normal next week. Or do I need to take it more seriously???

(I am 36, have had two large VB babies in the past 5 years)

I think the best thing is to see the GP, it would be pretty impossible to tell 100% yourself.

Hmmm, that sounds a bit ominous... you're probably right though...

It does sound abit like it, you don't have to have a full on prolapse to 'count' - most google pics will be extreme cases to really demonstrate what it is. Good luck :)
