ive had pain in my foot for 6months went private in the end as xrays and docs didn't know what it was. turns out my sesamoid bones are smaller than they should be. ive gotta have an ultrasound next wednesday to check out the tendons to see if they are damaged or not.
the pain is quite bad when i walk bare foot or flat shoes with thin soles. its like something slips if i put too much pressure on the wrong part of my foot and its very painful.
ive been running for months now but im pretty sure the pain started just before i started running. the only time i dont have much prob with my foot is when i have my running trainers on!
im worried im going to be told to stop running which is the absolute LAST thing i want to do- thats why i haven't told the doc i run!
The doc said there isn't too much that can be done about these bones being small
has anyone else had probs with these bones? if so, what was done about it if anything?
