am going to australia ,seen somewhere if you are taking medication, you need to take your prescription with you [customs],how do you take your prescription if you give the prescription to the chemist to get the medication,?

Check with your airline what the requirement is first, they should have the correct information.

When you get a prescription, they should give you one half of it - take that if you still have it. otherwise, make sure you keep the tablets in their original bottle with the label, don't decant them into some space-saving container.

A note from your GP detailing all medication and dosages.

Didn't have a problem with my pain madication [quite strong] and IBS meds but had letter just in case.

Have a good time.
